that gold is considered a safe haven. The upcoming French and British elections
could create changes in the political arena that will affect monetary policy,
as polls show a serious risk of a shift to the far right in France. In Britain,
Labor seems unlikely to win on 4 July but the right-wing Reform Party continues
to rally support at the expense of the Conservatives.
